Massimo Mariani

Councilor of CNI, in charge of the department of culture and scientific dissemination. 

Within CNI he is also responsible for the activities and research concerig seismic and hydrogeological risk. 

Civil Engineer and Architect, he is a freelance professional recognized among the leading experts in the field of Consolidation and Restoration of Buildings and Consolidation of Hydrogeological Instabilities. 


Professor of “Geotechnics and Applied Geology at the Engineering Works” of the Master’s Degree Course in Geological Sciences and Technologies of the University of Perugia, professor at the 2nd level University Master’s Degree “Seismic Improvement,

Restoration and Consolidation of the Historical Buildings” of the Faculty of Engineering of Perugia and teacher in seminars and professional refresher courses for the Centre of Studies “Sisto Mastrodicasa” and for the “ASS.I.R.C.CO”. He currently delivers lectures and seminars at different Orders of Engineers, in Italy and abroad.

Member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Structure of the Government Extraordinary Commissioner for the Earthquake in Central Italy and President of the E. C. C. E. (European Council of Civil Engineers). Author of 5 Volumes – Specialist essays, with over 17,000 copies distributed and 37 articles published in national and international magazines, as well as editor and co-author of 4 important publications in his own doctrinal sector.
